Strategic Marketing

Strategy Development and Strategic Marketing are deliberate plans for steering business and marketing initiatives systematically, simply spoken.

 

Keeping an eye on Minzberg’s five Ps, strategy as a plan, ploy, pattern, position or perspective, it becomes apparent that the development of a sound strategy requires foresight and a broad entrepreneurial vision, backed by analyses. In this context, special attention is being paid to business models, marketing including positioning aspects and external factors.

Conceptual Design and Prototyping

What we mean by Conceptual Design, is an elementary act of creation – not an elitist or glamorous one. The maxim is striving for a purposeful design and an optimal user experience.

 

Multiple levels of design are covered – from fundamental, structural aspects, to workflow and process design, right up to Interaction Design.

In order to optimize the user experience and usability in iterative cycles – in compliance with user centered design processes, design methods (synthesis methods) are combined with empirical and heuristical evaluation and testing methodologies, as described under section User Research and Market Insights.

The operational organisation is the fundament of all endeavours. Creating an operational organisation, appropriate to the project goals and circumstances, has become the major challenge in these times of fast changing hypes and actionism.

The main goal is to establish organisational structures on different scales, which enables a systematic product and service development in accordance with human centered design, or better known as user centered design frameworks (e.g. ISO 9241-210:2010).

Organisations, approaching more from the business side, traditionally focus stronger on business model, business casing and positioning issues of the business as a whole.

The situations sound very specific, but many issues are very familiar to those ones of product and service development endeavors. The edges are blurring.
